About
Josée Lavoie is a a French-Canadian graphic designer, illustrator and sometimes author. She was born and raised in Northern Ontario (Timmins specifically) but is currently based in the Ottawa region.
In 2018, she graduated from Collège la Cité with an advanced diploma in graphic design. Since then, she has been working in her field, and more recently, exploring the world of children’s books.
In 2022, she self-published her first children’s books (ABC: What Can You Grow Up to Be? and 123: What Can You Grow Up to Be?) in both English and French.
In 2023, she self-published her first picture book, A Day at Nanny and Eddy’s in English and French.
She also worked with clients such as: FESFO, Résidence de La Cité, TFO, AFO, Collège Nordique de Yellowknife and more!
When Josée isn’t working, she enjoys playing video games and travelling.
